Google Searching: Made Easier and Effective

Woah! So today, I learned another great feature of the Google. Many of us search the net just because we need it in our acads or we just want to know the latest stuffs. We search the net by just typing the terms or things that we want to know more and just skim through the result page for the results that interest us. With effective Google searching, we can actually "filter" the filtered results that we want and we need. Because Google base the results that it will show on the terms that we type on the search bar, it is efficient for us to know how to effectively search the things that we want to search for. Effective Google searching also helps one to achieve information literacy that is essential for students, professionals, or to anyone there who would just like to search for anything. By improving our searching skills, we can get reliable and relevant sources and information that we need.

As a DevCom student, being literate in the things that we will write will help us become reliable sources. Because of the different effective features of Google search, it will be helpful to me to sort out the reliable sources that I need and that will help my article be a good one too.

I am looking forward to learn many new things about Google that I know will help me as a DevCom practitioner in the future. :)

  1. Merry Christmas!
Anyway, I like your assumption that we DevCom students could possibly be reliable resources as we write. But, I want you ton remember that being a DevCom practitioner someday will put us not only in the field of print media, but also in the broadcast and the emerging media. I hope that what you've learned in CMSC2 will not be used ONLY in writing, for I know that you know that effective Google searching could help us in many ways, long as we know how to use it.

    Happy Holidays! :)
